Student housing · the Financial District
Rooms near the Financial District and Lower Manhattan — walkable to Pace University’s downtown campus.

Pace’s downtown campus sits at the southern tip of Manhattan, in the Financial District — a neighborhood that’s dense with subway lines (the 4, 5, 6, N, R, W, J, Z, and A/C among them), so getting to class or anywhere else in the city rarely takes long. Expect narrow, historic streets during the day that quiet down noticeably in the evening, with the East River and Hudson waterfronts both within walking distance for a break between classes. Because it’s less residential than neighborhoods further uptown, rooms here can be a genuinely good value for the amount of subway access you get. Rooms in this cluster tend to be private rooms in shared apartments — see what’s currently listed near campus below.
Rooms we currently list near Pace run about $2,400 a month. The current listing is furnished and has a shared bathroom. The 1, 6, A, B, C, D, E, F, M, N, R, and W stop nearby.
